Hurts answers in 4Q to clinch NFC East as Cowboys fall to NFC #5 seed
PHOTO · GAME ACTION · 16:9
Jalen Hurts threw two fourth-quarter touchdowns and ran for a third in a 27-24 win that locked the NFC East and the #2 seed in the conference. The Cowboys, who entered Thursday needing only a tie to clinch a top-three seed, drop to the #5 line and a wild-card weekend matchup at Detroit.
CeeDee Lamb went over 100 yards for the eighth time this season but was held without a target on the Cowboys final two drives. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions inside the Eagles 35 in the second half, both on play-action looks against Cover-1 robber.
Dynasty take
Lamb stays T1 in our WR board. Hurts adds another QB1 finish in a contract year. Saquon Barkley quietly hit 1,612 rushing yards and could be a sell-high candidate for managers in title contention.
